Royle Training Programs

Royle Printing is pleased to offer employees one of the best print training programs in the industry, Advanced Careers in Print (ACP). The ACP program is a hands-on, classroom form of learning that gives individuals
real-world industry experience. Depending on the area of manufacturing and prior experience, a participant
may spend months in the program while also working in production with their coach and mentor.

Royle Printing's Corporate Trainee Program is a high-performing rotational program focusing on skill and
leadership development through on-the-job training. Trainees have access to everything from state-of-the-art technology to our leadership team. Corporate Trainees acquire a valued perspective on Royle – each rotation provides new skills and knowledge that are transferred to each subsequent rotation. The program is just over a year and a half long, and no prior print experience is required!

Corporate Trainee Program

Royle Printing is proud to offer one of the most hands-on internship programs in the industry, Royle Academy. Come learn about what a career in print looks like and get real-life experience working with our talented team of personnel. Internship opportunities can be paid or for credit and typically last around 8-12 weeks, depending on schedules. Each individual enrolled in Royle Academy will be focused and specialize in a department of their choice but will additionally be able to shadow all departments within Royle and learn fully about the business. Outside of work, there are several fun summer outings and events — to get to know not only the other members of Royle Academy but also Royle’s team.

Do you demonstrate strong technical and mechanical abilities? Royle’s Operator in Training Program is for you, and no prior print experience is required. The Operator in Training program allows individuals to come and shadow the different pieces of equipment to see where one’s passion might lie. Compensation for this role starts at $19-$21 an hour based on experience. Skilled operators can make upwards of $24+ an hour.

Our Youth Apprenticeship Program can launch your long-term career in printing, either in the skilled trades and/or in a professional position. With an emphasis on career exploration, our program offers flexibility to align educational opportunities and projects with your interests and skills. In addition, the program provides insight into a stable and thriving industry while you build relationships with professionals and leaders. Our fun company culture makes it an excellent environment for young professionals to learn and jumpstart their careers. Your scheduled hours are determined based on your academic and extracurricular activities.

Are you looking to become an operator but need to gain more experience in the print world? This position is right for you! Under the direction of the department manager, shift supervisor, and lead operator, this position teaches all aspects of what it takes to be an operator. They will get full exposure to the cutter, folder, tipper, bellyband, stitcher, binder & more. Entry-level pay begins at $19-$21 an hour based on experience. Opportunities for 12-hour workdays enable more flexibility, extended days off/long weekends & more perks!

Customer Service Coordinator

The Customer Service Coordinator would support the Customer Service Representatives with administrative functions that assist in delivering an exceptional experience to Royle Printing clients. Ensures that the client’s expectations are met and maintained from the time the project arrives in Customer Service through distribution and billing. Provides administrative support to Customer Service Representatives. Develops an understanding of our client's businesses, needs, and expectations. Ideally, this person would become a full-time Customer Service Representative. This individual can be in-office or remote.

We’re looking for a self-starting professional who is outgoing and personable. This individual would serve as the point of contact between Royle and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities, including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance related to our products and services. This individual can be in-office or remote.

Sales Representative

CSRs are responsible for managing the project from sale through distribution. Project Managers/CSRs proactively communicate with our clients, creating and distributing job tickets outlining project specifications throughout our operations area. They answer project-specific questions to internal and external clients and monitor and convey the project's progress. Qualified candidates will have strong organization and planning abilities, prior experience working under the pressure of tight deadlines, and the ability to communicate with both internal and external clients. Competence in communicating, internally and externally, is crucial to this position.

Customer Service Representative

This individual assists the press crew in operating and maintaining any offset web press and the production of high-quality printed materials. Royle Printing offers an exciting career opportunity for press operators on our heat-set and sheetfed web presses. We're a growing company looking for folks who want to grow with us. We also offer internships in this position, which provides a career pathway into a full-time press operator with advancement opportunities to first press operator and leadership.

Press Operator

This individual assists the machine operator with the setup and operation of our finishing machines: stitchers, folders, perfect binders, polybagger, cutters, mailers, shrink wrappers, tippers, CT trimmers, drills, and other finishing equipment. We also offer intern opportunities in this area, providing a career pathway into machine operation roles and supervisory/leadership.

Finishing Associate

This individual will be responsible for performing and managing equipment installations and conducting repairs and maintenance of the facility and equipment. S/he will have a working knowledge of 3-phase electrical in a manufacturing facility, with new installations and equipment repairs, machine troubleshooting and/or electrical repair, and electrical cable installation. Prior PLC and AC/DC motor drive experience are beneficial.

Electrician

Under the direction of the Prepress Supervisor, this position provides end user support for hardware, software, peripherals and networking. Experience with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite software is required, and experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Prinergy is preferred. This position involves regular use of Adobe prepress applications to manipulate and correct job files for the proper dimensions, layout, trims & bleeds.
