Mohamed Sawan

Mohamed was born and raised in Egypt and has lived in Madison since moving to the United States at the age of 13. After graduating from UW-Madison with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mohamed set out on an exciting career journey that has provided him with invaluable life and work experiences. This included a diverse range of roles ranging from working as a hydraulic fracturing engineer and microseismic project manager at Halliburton to working as a store manager at Walgreens. Mohamed’s desire for continuous learning led to his MBA from Edgewood College in 2022. Mohamed joined the Royle team in January 2022 as a Supply Chain and Lean Manufacturing Intern. In less than a year, he quickly distinguished himself through his passion for learning and commitment to process improvement, earning a promotion to Engineering Manager in January 2023, followed by Plant Controller in May 2023. We are excited to announce his latest promotion to Process Improvement Manager. Mohamed enjoys traveling to new places, DIY home improvement projects, and spending time with friends and family.
