Royle Collects Holiday Gifts for Local Area Families

Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 - Sun Prairie, WI

For this holiday season, Royle Printing has adopted two local area families to collect holiday gifts for their children. The family's children, ranging from ages 2-18, listed a few different items on their 'wish list'. Royle Printing was then given those lists and distributed it throughout the company.

For the past few weeks, Royle team members have been donating new toys, coats, and clothing items bought for these families! All additional toys, coats, and clothing items were then donated to Toys for Tots and Koats for Kids of Dane County.

Raising Awareness on 'World Pancreatic Cancer Day'

November 17, 2016 - Sun Prairie, WI

Associates of the Royle Printing team showed their support on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 by wearing the color purple throughout their office and facility. Pictures seen below were taken of several Royle team members who were raising awareness about Pancreatic Cancer, and all forms of cancer.

Royle Printing also held an internal raffle and bake sale to raise money to donate to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation to continuing research. All proceeds were donated.

Royle To Build New Storage Facility in Sun Prairie

Royle Printing has announced an expansion of a new warehouse and production facility to be constructed in the Sun Prairie Business Park under the terms of an agreement approved Tuesday, August 2nd by the Sun Prairie City Council.

The new 40,000 sq. ft. facility, expected to be completed by next July, will be used for warehousing with the potential for additional expansion of production.

The agreement essentially gives Royle the 12.11 acre parcel located between Columbus Street and Success Way with the estimated initial construction value of the 40,000 sq. ft. facility will be $2.1 million along with $7.5 million in furniture, fixtures and equipment.

President & CEO of Royle Printing, Chris Carpenter, explained the reasons behind adding the new location in the Sun Prairie Business Park, "The new facility will serve as a warehouse for paper and finished goods, with the possibility of adding some light manufacturing in the coming months or year, This will allow us to convert space at our primary location at 745 S Bird Street into manufacturing."

The agreement with the City of Sun Prairie requires Royle to take occupancy of the new facility by July 1, 2017, but Carpenter said the company is aiming to occupy the facility during the first quarter of 2017.

Congratulations to the Graduating Class of Royle University 2016!

The second class of Royle University, 'Royle U', just celebrated their graduation this past week near Royle's headquarters in Sun Prairie, WI. The group completed a team building exercise, the Royle U Games, consisting a series of games similar to the Olympics.

The Royle University program is designed to impart leadership development, provide in-depth experiences, and targeted training across all aspects of business within Royle Printing. Upon graduating, employees will use their gained knowledge and experience to continue to lead Royle into the future.

The 2016 graduating class is comprised of Royle's pressroom, finishing, maintenance & project management department employees.

Royle Printing Announces Merger with W.D. Hoard & Sons

Sept. 23rd, 2015 - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin – Royle Printing is pleased to announce a definitive merger agreement with W.D. Hoard & Sons, whereby W.D. Hoard’s printing business, located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, will be merged into Royle’s print operations. The merger will take place over the next 60 days; terms and conditions of the agreement were not disclosed.

The merger will allow Hoard’s print customers to take advantage of Royle’s very modern and efficient manufacturing platform. Chris Carpenter, President and Owner of Royle Printing remarked,

The merger comes in the wake of a recent expansion underway at Royle Printing, including the installation of a new Goss Sunday 2000 press. The expansion will be completed in early December 2015.
