Royle Printing's latest expansion of a new warehouse and production facility is close to completion in the Sun Prairie Business Park. The new 40,000 sq. ft. facility will be used for warehousing with the potential for additional expansion of production.

The agreement essentially gives Royle the 12.11 acre parcel located between Columbus Street and Success Way with the estimated initial construction value of the 40,000 sq. ft. facility will be $2.1 million along with $7.5 million in furniture, fixtures and equipment.

President & CEO of Royle Printing, Chris Carpenter, explained the reasons behind adding the new location in the Sun Prairie Business Park, "The new facility will serve as a warehouse for paper and finished goods, with the possibility of adding some light manufacturing in the coming months or year, This will allow us to convert space at our primary location at 745 S Bird Street into manufacturing."

The agreement with the City of Sun Prairie requires Royle to take occupancy of the new facility by July 1, 2017, but Carpenter said the company is aiming to occupy the facility during the first quarter of 2017.

Royle To Build New Storage Facility in Sun Prairie

Royle Printing has announced an expansion of a new warehouse and production facility to be constructed in the Sun Prairie Business Park under the terms of an agreement approved Tuesday, August 2nd by the Sun Prairie City Council.

The new 40,000 sq. ft. facility, expected to be completed by next July, will be used for warehousing with the potential for additional expansion of production.

Royle Printing Continues to Strengthen and Expand Business with New Investments

May, 2015 - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Royle Printing is investing over $6 million to strengthen and expand their printing operations in Wisconsin. The $6 million investment includes a new Goss Sunday 2000 web press, configured in a 38” wide format with gapless technology, 5 units, and in-line UV coating. The press utilizes the latest technical advancements available in the industry, providing Royle with a number of key production enhancements. It will also help the company in fulfilling their commitment to the environment; minimizing waste and energy consumption. In addition to the press, Royle has added a new, late model Polywrapper. This machine features 12 pockets with in-line ink jet imaging and Cheshire labeling. It also has the capacity to apply multiple types of onserts; including product samples, cosmetic samples and various print components.

Royle Printing Expands Capabilities with New Equipment & ERP System

July 2011 - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Royle Printing is growing and has purchased new equipment and technologies; expanding the company's capabilities. The company, headquartered in Sun Prairie, WI, combines high quality and efficient print manufacturing with mailing and distribution services to the publishing and catalog markets.

Royle has purchased an additional Goss Sunday 2000 web press; comprised of a 57" wide format with gapless technology. The press complements an existing Sunday press that was installed in 2008.

Royle expands its bindery and mailing operations through purchasing and installing two high speed Harris saddle stitching systems; both equipped with in-line mailing and personalization features. The stitchers are a necessary complement to the expanded press capacity; allowing Royle to continue to offer distribution services and flexibility to its customers.

Royle has partnered with Technique MIS to install a new ERP system. The new system will play an important role with helping Royle streamline internal process control while enhancing customer communications and workflows.

Royle Printing's New Goss Web Press Now Operational

March 2009 - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Royle Printing's new Goss Sunday 2000 web press is now installed and operational. The multi-million dollar investment was purchased to further strengthen Royle's printing operations in south central Wisconsin.

Headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Royle combines high quality and efficient print manufacturing with mailing and distribution services to the publishing and catalog markets. Royle has also announced plans to expand their facility to the east in an 50,000 square foot addition.

The Goss press utilizes the latest technical advancements, providing Royle with a number of key production and environmental enhancements. The 57-inch-wide format, full web press saves paper with gapless blankets providing a larger print area and pinless folders reducing bleed trim requirements.

From the combination folder and Vits sheeting capabilities to the Ecocool dryer and fully automated Recmi horizontal stacker, Royle Printing's new press reduces waste and energy consumption, assisting in minimizing its environmental footprint.

The closed-loop color control and computerized register and ink presets will enhance Royle Printing's ability to deliver leading edge quality; while minimizing press start-up and running waste.
