March 2009 - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Royle Printing's new Goss Sunday 2000 web press is now installed and operational. The multi-million dollar investment was purchased to further strengthen Royle's printing operations in south central Wisconsin.
Headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Royle combines high quality and efficient print manufacturing with mailing and distribution services to the publishing and catalog markets. Royle has also announced plans to expand their facility to the east in an 50,000 square foot addition.
The Goss press utilizes the latest technical advancements, providing Royle with a number of key production and environmental enhancements. The 57-inch-wide format, full web press saves paper with gapless blankets providing a larger print area and pinless folders reducing bleed trim requirements.
From the combination folder and Vits sheeting capabilities to the Ecocool dryer and fully automated Recmi horizontal stacker, Royle Printing's new press reduces waste and energy consumption, assisting in minimizing its environmental footprint.
The closed-loop color control and computerized register and ink presets will enhance Royle Printing's ability to deliver leading edge quality; while minimizing press start-up and running waste.
With more than 60 years experience in the graphic arts industry, Royle has capabilities similar to larger printers; yet the company remains small enough to be customer focused and flexible. The company anticipates strong opportunities for growth in the coming years.
