About the role….

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Royle Printing Career-Path Internship Program.  In this role you will participate in business improvement initiatives to help our team remove barriers and enhance our processes.  Interns will work under the direction of the Operations Process Improvement Managers.  Projects will include the coordination of and involvement in Lean/6S events, collecting and reporting data, creating and dispensing machine efficiency metrics, implementing lean controls that include visual direction and reminders, as well as, other administrative and operational tasks. 

About the knowledge gained….

Will be given project management experience managing new equipment procurement, facility construction, and implementation of new processes.  This will be a hands on internship. Candidates will be expected to get involved on the plant floor with operators and first line supervisors in order to understand the how and the why of lean manufacturing not taught in the classroom.

About you….

Enrolled in an associate or undergraduate program in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain and Operations, Logistics or related field from a leading program.  An aptitude and desire to pursue a role in Lean Six Sigma Process Engineering or Process Design.  Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving ability and detail orientated.  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.  Good analytical and decision-making skills.  Highly organized, detail-orientated, proactive and resourceful.
