Royle’s electronic prepress department is comprised of skilled craftspeople with extensive knowledge and training in all the major Mac and PC applications. From processing PDF and Postscript files to assembling pages via the latest release from Adobe InDesign™, our team is prepared to fulfill your prepress needs. We make use of the latest technologies and applications, including computer-to-plate, stochastic screening and soft proofing applications.

Royle’s prepress platform also serves as a foundation for our entire workflow. Utilizing a Creo-Kodak workflow with CIP3/4 enhancements, we gather information in the job planning stage; creating custom profiles that are utilized throughout the production process. This capability helps streamline the operation, creating significant efficiency and consistency.

On the proofing front, we recently purchased the Creo-Kodak InSite online proofing solution; allowing us to proof online from ripped files that reside on our server…the same files that create our plates. Real time collaboration, file transfer and email notification, are just a few of the features that are available with this system.
