July 1, 2004
Royle Printing Company, Inc. has been awarded the designation of “Best Workplace in America” by Printing Industries of America (PIA)…for the second consecutive year. PIA and its 14,000 national and international members is one of the oldest and largest associations in America.
The criteria for the award are based on six objectives: work environment & culture, employee training & development, financial preparedness, personal/work life balance, recognition & rewards, and health & well-being. The judges for the competition felt Royle stood out among the many applicants and awarded the company with this distinctive honor.
“We are quite proud of the company and culture we’ve created,” states Chris Carpenter, President and CEO of Royle Printing. “Our associates and management team are deeply committed to making Royle a great company…for our customers and employees alike.” Royle’s focus on company culture includes quarterly meetings with every associate, monthly cookouts, a wellness program, corporate profit sharing and an active suggest and reward campaign.
